So I ended up making an extra January knitting project, since I didn’t sew anything. I’m not trying to make excuses, but we had a house guest for about a week and a half and our guest room is our work room, so I couldn’t really get in there to make even a small project. The hat:

Right after I ordered the yarn for this (Plymouth Yarn Yukon, which is a mohair blend and sheds LIKE CRAZY. Kinda wishing I used Blue Sky Alpaca like the pattern called for, but I was trying to save money. Never a good decision when making something that takes time and effort, really), I found a sweater in the January 09 issue of Lucky magazine that looks nearly identical.
Lutz and Patmos Mitered Cardigan, goes for $595! I think I want to make this pattern again, but longer sleeves and the big collar. And in a softer, less hairy yarn.
