I am 28, live in Astoria, Queens and have a cat named Robot. I have a little jewelry line with my friend Kate called i like you as a friend. We mostly do gold and it's all stuff we love- giant sharks set with diamonds and little wheel chairs. All I want to do with all of my time is make things- from shirts and dresses to knitted hats and sweaters to reupholstering my furniture. I love Ellen and Lost and Flight of the Concords and the Whitest Kids U Know and Cooking Mama on wii. I love real cooking too. I'm half Japanese, a quarter Norwegian and a quarter who knows what, though people usually think Columbian for some reason. I have a tuba playing boyfriend named Chris and tons of Cath Kidston in my very cozy pre-war apartment. From the roof of my building, we used to have a great view of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler, but now there's "luxury condos" in Long Island City blocking our view.
I love New York, but it sure is crowded.
